Pregnancy signs
There are a lot of aspects one need to consider before planning for a pregnancy. Although pregnancy is an exciting time filled with dreams of your little one, there are things you can do to ready yourself for conception. Even if you are not encountering the early signs of pregnancy in the following months, it is important that you prepare yourself for your intended conception.

The first few weeks of pregnancy are very important in the baby’s development so it is a good idea to refrain from doing things that can be hazardous to the fetus. It is wise to quit smoking before you conceive. Once you decide that you want to have a child, put the cigarettes out and stay away from them. Of course, this is never an easy task, but it won’t be any easier after you experience the early signs of pregnancy.

Drinking in heavily is also damaging to a developing baby. Before you notice the first signs of pregnancy, keep your drinks to a minimum or stay away from alcoholic beverages entirely. The same goes for prescription medications. Inform your doctor that you are trying to conceive and find out if any prescription medication you may be taking can harm the baby.

Symptoms of pregnancy
Many women who decide to wait until they have the first symptoms of pregnancy to quit their bad habits. Some wait until they miss their period before talking to their doctors, but taking care of these things before you are pregnant will benefit the baby. Part of this is because you have already rid you body of toxins and you are have the information you need from your doctor.

There is no bad time to start an exercise program. Consider working out before you notice the first signs of pregnancy. It is important to consult your physician before starting any exercise program and make sure to exercise in moderation. Many women make the mistake of waiting until the baby is born before starting a regular workout routine but a moderate exercise plan can be easily followed throughout your pregnancy.

Pregnancy first stages
For a pregnant women, it is always important that you take good care of yourself in general. It doesn’t matter if you are planning to have a baby or if you are having the first stages of pregnancy. Bad habits are hard to break and they are not really easier to break when you are carrying a child. Introducing you baby to a healthy body that was taken care of before the first signs of pregnancy were even apparent will increase the baby’s chances of having a healthy start.

Although women are most often led to suspect that they are pregnant by symptoms which can sometimes be of doubtful significance more often than not subsequent developments rarely fail to confirm the suspicion.

They may prove misleading once or twice in a hundred or so cases; the number of mistakes is small. The diagnosis is commonly made not from only one of these doubtful signs but normally from a collection of them.

In order of importance the doubtful or presumptive signs of an early pregnancy are:

(1)Cessation of menstruation,
(2)Changes in the breasts,
(3)morning sickness,
(4)Disturbances in urination.

The Cessation of Menstruation.

The failure of menstruation to begin when expected is nearly always the first symptom of pregnancy to attract attention, and, as a rule, when this happens to healthy women during the child-bearing age it is taken to indicate that conception has occurred. It is doubtful whether menstruation ever continues after conception has taken place. There are of course exceptions to this very good rule; instances in which the menstrual function is believed to persist are in all probability a discharge that may well have a different origin.

It can in most cases be interpreted as meaning that there is some danger of miscarriage and since miscarriage often occurs about the time a menstrual period would ordinarily be expected, there is opportunity for confusing the symptoms.

Each of the more reliable symptoms must be accepted cautiously as a sign of early pregnancy; but taken altogether, except in very unusual cases, they may be relied upon. If, for example, menstruation has previously been regular and then a period is missed, the patient has good reason to suspect she is pregnant; if the next period is also missed and meanwhile breasts have enlarged, the nipples darkened, and the secretion of colostrum has begun, it is nearly certain that she is pregnant; Whether morning sickness and the desire to pass urine more frequently are present is of less importance.

Many puzzling questions occur to the woman who is about to become a mother. Most of these questions are reasonable and natural, and should be frankly answered. However, no matter how frank and helpful advice from well meaning folk may be, it will not enable you to dispense with professional advice. For the prospective mother no advice can ever be more important than this: You must put yourself under the care of a physician.

When I went and had my pregnancy photos taken with my husband and my 2 year old daughter, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever done. The photographer was very knowledgeable on how to place us and what drapes or lighting to use. When we go to see our pictures when they were done I couldn’t believe how amazing they were. I ordered extras to share with the whole family and friends.

My daughter was so thrilled that she got to touch my belly and be a part of the experience. Even my husband who hates pictures didn’t mind so much. He even keeps one in his wallet. He thinks my belly photos are the most beautiful I’ve ever been. These photos will be on my wall for a very long time. I only wish I had heard or known about this year ago so I could have gotten pictures for my first daughter’s pregnancy.
