When Do Pregnancy Symptoms Start

If you ask the medical field you may hear the fifth or sixth week is when symptoms of a pregnancy start. But every woman’s body will react to every pregnancy differently. Some women have stated that they start to feel changes in their body as soon as a week after sexual intercourse.   Other women miss the signs or their bodies have the typical signs for months.

Symptoms will usually start after your embryo starts creating the hormone
Human chorionic gonadotropin also known as HCG. When the egg has been fertilized and it becomes implanted in the uterus it starts making this hormone to protect the fertilized egg from the mother’s immune cells. This happens about 11 to 14 days after conception.  A pregnancy test reads these HCG levels to determine if you’re pregnant. The body will create HCG for the entire pregnancy but it will peak at about week 11. That’s when most women notice that things like morning sickness begin to fade.
What are pregnancy symptoms
